Honks For Whirrs...

interp | Anatomical terminology

Not much to say about this one, just anatomical words I use to describe parts of Mimi. pookie yo mimicloaca showing I'm really interested in biology as well, so it was only natural for me to label Mimic's body parts... while minding the robotic terms as well!

They're mostly based on what functions like/passes as a body part on a human, so the collarbones, spine and iliums are obviously labeled as such.

You might notice a LOT of holes, intentionally spaced-out areas, and other such oddities.. these I believe are for weight reduction. Mimic was probably originally built with tungsten for goddarn's sake, that boy is HEAVY!!!

Taking chunks off of its metal components allow for a lighter, but still sturdy frame. (and no, unfortunately the brilliantly named "mimicloaca" does not function as such, it's another weight reduction hole. but the resemblance is uncanny!)

Also note the parallels of biological function to Mimic's. Jaw wires are the sole connection between mandible and head, and move the jaw as well. Like muscles of a detached jaw.

The leg wiring, namely on that juicy thigh of his, may also act similarly to musculature, if it were to have functional moving cables... (think Ennard!) Otherwise, they may serve a slight protective function or a cosmetic one to try and pass as a "real person".
